3. Protrusion on bottom rim of tube shall be located to line up with negative hole in socket as shown.
4. The jacket material shall be metallic.
5. Voltage and polarity markings- may be placed on top or side of battery.
6. Protrusion shall extend beyond the height of the metal jacket and be approximately .063 inch
(1.60 mm) in diameter. Socket in pin hole openings shall not be obstructed by protrusion.

REQUIREMENTS:
Dimensions, marking, and configuration: See figure 1.
Nominal voltage: 6.0 volts.
Usual number and type of cells: 4 "N" cells.
Usual cell connection: Series.
Terminals: 2-hole socket.
Weight (Maximum): 1.33 ounces.
Capacity tests: When the battery is tested in accordance with the methods of examination and test of
this specification, the minimum capacity-test requirements shall be not less than the minimum time
specified for SLD or SLT.
